2. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided through our website or by phone are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing may vary based on:

  • Actual home size and volume of items
  • Access conditions at pickup and delivery locations (stairs, elevators, distance from truck to door)
  • Additional services requested on moving day
  • Unforeseen circumstances such as traffic, parking restrictions, or building access issues

We are committed to transparent pricing. Any changes to the estimated cost will be communicated to you before additional charges are applied.

3. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth and efficient move, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your move, including addresses, home size, access conditions, and any special items
  • Be present or have an authorized representative present on moving day
  • Ensure all items are accessible and ready for moving at the scheduled time
  • Notify us in advance of any fragile, high-value, or specialty items (pianos, artwork, antiques, electronics)
  • Obtain any required parking permits or building approvals prior to the move date

Failure to provide accurate information or meet these responsibilities may result in additional charges or rescheduling.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling made 48 hours or more before the scheduled move date: no fee
  • Cancellations or rescheduling made less than 48 hours before the scheduled move date: may be subject to a cancellation fee
  • Same-day cancellations: subject to a cancellation fee to cover labor and logistics costs

We will communicate any applicable fees clearly before confirming your booking.

5. Liability and Claims

Moving Bridge LLC takes great care in handling your belongings. In the event of damage or loss, the following terms apply:

  • We carry general liability and cargo insurance as required for our operations
  • Claims for damaged or lost items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
  • We are not liable for damage to items that were not professionally packed by our team, pre-existing damage, or items of extraordinary value not disclosed prior to the move
  • Our liability is limited to the reasonable repair or replacement value of the affected items, subject to our insurance coverage

6. Prohibited Items

For safety and legal reasons, we do not transport the following items:

  • Hazardous materials, flammable substances, or explosives
  • Illegal substances or items
  • Perishable food items
